When a booking is completed, 20% of the sitter's earnings is automatically deducted before payout. For example, if you earn $100 for a session, you receive $80. This fee covers platform operations, payment processing, and ongoing safety infrastructure. There are no surprise deductions beyond this.
A thorough background check requires accessing official criminal and identity databases, which carry a real cost. Rather than building this into a monthly subscription, we pass it through as a transparent one-time fee before your profile goes live.
