A Note on Independence
Find Christian Sitters is an independently owned and operated platform. Churches are not business partners, co-owners, or affiliates. Participating in our verification process does not create a legal relationship between your church and our platform. Your congregation members join as independent contractors. Your church retains no liability and has no governance role. Either party may end the verification relationship at any time, for any reason, with no obligation.
What We Ask of You
A congregation member will ask you for a volunteer verification letter. That’s the full extent of your involvement.

A congregation member applies to become a sitter on our platform and lists your church.
They request a letter
They ask your church office for a volunteer verification letter on official letterhead, signed by a pastor or ministry leader.
We handle the rest
The sitter uploads the letter to our platform. We review it for authenticity. Your involvement ends there.

Common Questions from Church Offices
No. Your church's only possible role is writing a verification letter for a member who requests one. We do not represent any church affiliation, and we do not use your church's name or logo in our marketing.
No. Sitters are independent contractors who have passed their own background check and safety certification. Your church's involvement begins and ends with writing a letter for a member who asks — and only if you choose to provide one. We carry platform liability — not your congregation.
A brief letter on your official church letterhead confirming the individual is an active volunteer, signed by your pastor or ministry leader. It should include their full name, volunteer role, approximate length of service, and your church's contact information. Nothing beyond that.
Find Christian Sitters is independently owned and makes all platform decisions internally. We welcome general feedback through our contact form, but we are not able to make policy changes on behalf of any individual church.
